Fight Cancer Greeting Cards: Warrior Women
February 4th marks World Cancer Day, a time to unite in the fight against cancer, to raise awareness, and to honor those whose lives have been touched by this disease.
I’ve poured my heart into my latest work featured on our Fight Cancer Greeting Cards, inspired by the extraordinary strength, resilience, and unwavering determination of the warrior women who have fought cancer — my friends, my family and countless others whose stories of courage have left me in awe.
There are so many different types of cancer that deserve awareness and support—each one a devastating battle for those it touches. But for me, breast cancer is the unrelenting asshole that keeps impacting me and the people I love. It’s a thief that takes so much, and yet, the women I know who’ve faced it are some of the most courageous, inspiring people I’ve ever met.
This small collection is designed to celebrate and honor the strong women in our lives. These cards are a tribute to the beauty that radiates from within — proof that we don’t need boobs or hair to be beautiful.
My First Friend in Texas
Warrior Woman Inspiration
When I was 12 years old and moving to Texas from Michigan, Missy was the very first person to befriend me. Middle school is tough, but Missy made everything better.
She welcomed me with open arms, and her friendship has been a constant in my life ever since. Over the years, she’s been one of my biggest supporters and loudest cheerleaders, always there to lift me up with her amazing energy and love.
The Bald and The Beautiful
Now, Missy is fighting cancer for the second time.
This time, she’s faced more challenges — including losing her hair — but something she never loses is her faith. Her attitude is nothing short of inspiring. Despite the hardships, she’s been an example to all who know her, handling everything with such grace and strength.
Missy, this beautiful Sugarluxe Girl is inspired by you.
And it’s for every woman who has ever stepped into the ring with cancer, whether for themselves or alongside someone they love.
Send a Message of Love and Support
This World Cancer Day, (and actually, every day) let’s celebrate the amazing women in our lives.
Let’s honor their stories, their struggles, and their triumphs. Whether it’s through a card, a call, or simply holding space for their journey, let’s remind them how much they mean to us.
Missy, you have my whole heart.
You’re a shining example of what it means to face adversity with courage and grace, and I’m endlessly proud to call you my forever friend.
To all the warrior women out there:
You are seen, you are loved, and you are beautiful — inside and out.
FIGHT CANCER Greeting Cards
Our Fight Cancer Greeting Cards are hopefully more than just cards — they’re designed with my decades long personal style of creating art with messages of love, support, and empowerment.
They’re for the survivors, the fighters, and the ones who never stop cheering from the sidelines.
I hope you find the design to be perfect for sending a heartfelt message to the women who inspire you, who refuse to let cancer define them, and who remind us all of the power of hope.
Giving Back to the Fight
I’m proud to share that a portion of the proceeds from the Fight Cancer greeting cards will go to The Pink Fund.
This incredible organization provides financial support to breast cancer patients, covering essential non-medical expenses like housing, transportation, and utilities, so they can focus on healing.
