Chandra MichaelsI launched Sugarluxe on Valentine’s Day 2005 — before Etsy, the same day as YouTube, and before most had Facebook. Back then, selling original art directly from a website outside of Ebay seemed impossible to most, but I was determined to find a way to connect with like-minded women.
Within a year of the launch, a celebrity collaboration put me on the map, leading to opportunities that brought Sugarluxe art to boutiques, major retailers, and art galleries worldwide.
This year marks our 20th Anniversary and I can’t believe I get to still do what I love every day — make pretty wall art with messages of kindness, encouragement and inspiration. Thank you for being here.
